"The evening began with us being given a key card to a room that was already occupied and we walked in on a couple and woke them up. The room we were given was clean but quite noisy because the doors to the rooms wouldn't close on the first try. So, anytime anyone on the corridor came or went, there was a lot of door slamming. The second day of our stay, our key card did not work and we had to go back to the office to get it fixed. The second night of our stay, a youth group inhabited several of the rooms on our corridor. They were knocking on our door and running away (for sort and out of boredom), talking loudly in the corridor, and entering and exiting the rooms a lot, causing a lot of noise and banging. At 11 p.m., I had to ask them to be quiet. This proved ineffective and so I had to call management. They informed me that security was being sent over, but after about 45 minutes, nothing had changed. I called again and was told that the leader of the group had told the hotel management that the group would be exiting to the bars and that, if they were noisy upon their return, then they would be kicked out of the hotel. We were traveling with two children and the whole thing was very unsatisfactory overall. Also, at check-out, their printer was broken, so we could not receive an itemized bill. From the information we could obtain on the internet, I thought that Travelers Inn was kind of like a McDonald's--lots of them and nothing fancy, but reliable. Instead,, it was run down and attracted a crowd I don't want to spend any time with."
